Merry Christmas from Blu and Regis!

Blu and Regis hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. They sure did! They're taking naps now!


He would rather eat it, not wear it! After a huge christmas dinner, Blu and myself get in some much needed exercise!

No couch for a few days and Blu is lovin' it!

About a month ago we purchased a new sectional. As we waited for it to arrive we used the old college futon pad for seating (or lounging while watching TV). Blu knows that he's not allowed on any furniture, but we couldn't keep him off of this. Both fur balls thought it was one gigantic pet bed!

Snip, Snip

Yesterday little Blu Boy went in to be altered. He gets to come home today. I can't wait to see him!

Okay, it has been to long!

Okay, it has been a long time since my last post! Blue is doing great! He is 6 months now and growing so much that it's scary! His fur is getting darker and longer. We truly feel like our lives were so empty before we had this bundle of entertainment. Next week Blu goes in for a little "snip, snip"!

We watched our friend's dog Chloe. They get along great and love to play!

Lazy Dog Days of Summer!

Speaking of Lazy, I've been lazy and haven't posted in a while.

Blu is getting so big, he's 35lbs now, over 4 months old and so in love with Regis!

Most Spoiled Puppy Ever!

I really do think we have the most spoiled puppy ever. How could we resist taking him on an unexpected weekend get-a-way? Just look at him! Last weekend it was the pool this past weekend it was Lake Michigan.


He was so good during the ride up there! He let us know when he had to "gooooo." Once we got there he had a blast. He LOVED the sand. He is also the people magnet! We should have named him Magnet! Everyone on the beach came over to pet him, or he would go over to them and expect to be petted.



I think Regis missed him. When we came back she was being such a cuddle bug!

This thursday Blu will be 12 weeks! I can't believe how big he is getting. I can almost see him growing before my eyes!

Two weeks down! (First Swim)

Blu is a jewel. House training is going great. He can go most the night without needing to "go". Last Thursday we went to puppy training. He has already learned some basic commands. He loves people and loves to play with other dogs, especially the other Goldens in the neighborhood.

We went to a cookout over the weekend. Blu had so much fun playing with our friend's dog, Maggie. He also went for his first swim!

He's thinking about jumping in.

One week down!

We've had Blu for exactly one week now. He sure has grown! He also has lots more energy! He loves to play with his Frisbee and he tries to eat everything in sight!
Our cat Regis is not quite sure what to think about Blu. (I think Regis secretly adores him.)

Blu is Home!

Blu came home on Monday! It' Friday now and so far he has been a great little guy. Potty training is going as well as expected. Thusday we went to our first night of training, without Blue. I think it will be great for him. We've been going on lots of walks and he's been playing with lots of toys. He also loves sticks, he wants to play with Regis, but Regis is keeping is distance. Everyday Regis gets a little closer and he loves to watch Blue play! Most of the time Blue loves to just kick back!

7 weeks old!

Boy did Blu grow in 10 days! We spent some time with Blu and his siblings yesterday. We can't wait to bring him home on Memorial Day. I can't imagine how big he will be by then. We went shopping for all of his doggy stuff today, it was so much fun!

Our first meeting!

Meet Blu. He's a 7 week old Golden Retriever. We don't have him yet, but we'll bring him home on May 28. We are both very excited about raising a new puppy to love for years to come. We'll be posting updates and pictures of our Blu along the way! -Marko and Jen
